Lawrence Ragan Communications issued its first call for entries for its [Employee Communications Awards 2012 contest. The contest’s Early Bird deadline is December 7. The final date entries may be posted is December 21.
The fee for entries submitted by December 7 is $175, going up to $225 for entries submitted between December 7 and December 21.
Mark Ragan, publisher of http://www.ragan.com, speaking about the 2011 Employee Communications Awards, said: “Last year we didn’t know what to expect. We had created 20 or so social media categories in which we’d never offered prizes. And we were just staggered by our readers’ enthusiasm. We got more than 350 entries."
“This year, we’ve slimmed down the number of categories a bit, mostly by combining categories. We’ve tried to make it more immediately apparent to contestants what category affords them the best chance of making the final cut."
