Weathervane Winery Hosts Free Event in Celebration of its Anniversary

Weathervane Winery in Lexington, North Carolina invites the public to join them on Saturday, November 3, 2012 for a very special anniversary event, the 4th Annual Chicken Stew with Darleen and Larry Crews. The anniversary party is free and guests will enjoy bluegrass music from the Idle Time Band and the Crews Family chicken stew.

Weathervane Winery, a premier Lexington, North Carolina vineyard, recently announced that it will host a special anniversary event, the 4th Annual Chicken Stew on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The event will feature a performance by Blue Grass band, the Idle Time Band from 12-3 p.m. at Weathervane Winery's amphitheater and homemade chicken stew courtesy of Darleen and Larry Crews.

The Idle Time Band entertains guests with a lively show, interacting with the audience, cutting up and playing exceptional blue grass music. Band members play the banjo, bass, dobro, guitar and mandolin. Fans of Flatt & Scruggs, Del McCoury, Lonesome River Band, Bluegrass Album Band, Mountain Heart, The Primitive Quartet, Johnny Cash, and Charlie Waller are sure to love the Idle Time Band.
