Dermatology Practice Management Group Continues National Expansion

Working with Integrated Dermatology Group helped us build the foundation we needed to be a successful practice.

Integrated Dermatology Group (IDG), a leading dermatology practice management group, today announced it has acquired University Dermatology Associates of Washington, DC. The acquisition adds to IDG’s presence in the nation’s capital where it has been operating since 2009 under the leadership of Dr. Agnes Ju Chang and managed by Timothy Chang since its founding. University’s three dermatologists will be joining IDG and Dr. Chang as Integrated Dermatology of 19th Street.

“From the moment we opened our doors, being a part of Integrated Dermatology Group allowed us to immediately develop the infrastructure and overall foundation to build a successful practice,” said Dr. Chang. “Now, with the acquisition of the University practice, we will be able to grow holistically, adding more services while taking advantage of the practice management and other tools IDG offers,” said managing director, Tim Chang.

“We’re proud of our involvement with our Washington, DC partners and this expansion will allow for growth and an extension of services.” said Jeff Queen, president of Integrated Dermatology Group. “This acquisition is the most recent example that IDG can assist virtually any dermatology practice to grow, work more efficiently and be more profitable. We want doctors to focus on the practice of medicine while we handle administrative, back-office and other related responsibilities.”

IDG has been pursuing an aggressive expansion across the country. The Washington, DC announcement comes on the heels of the recent announcement of its partnership with Alta Dermatology Group of Mesa, AZ.

About Integrated Dermatology Group

Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, IDG owns, manages and operates dermatology practices throughout the United States. The company is aggressively pursuing rapid expansion by acquiring and partnering with dermatology practices. IDG has created an innovative program that provides dermatologists looking to sell their practice, and dermatologists who desire a partnership, an opportunity that previously has not existed in dermatology. IDG’s uniqueness is vested in its ability to provide selling dermatologists monetary value for their practice, while allowing them to remain at the practice indefinitely. For those physicians wishing to exit a practice, IDG can allow them to monetize a lifetime of work and simultaneously provide the younger dermatologists the opportunity to immediately own and take over the established practice of the retiring dermatologist.

IDG’s mission is to improve the quality of life for its partner dermatologists while adding to their success. IDG enables its partner physicians to focus on providing high quality dermatological care by relieving the stress of management and by offering its doctors expert business advisory services, compliance guidance, financial services, human resources and related management services necessary to achieve best business practices.
