Today, TerraSpark Geosciences LLC® announced the appointment of Rocky Smith as Vice President of Sales to drive sales efforts of this leading seismic data interpretation, seismic data processing, directional well-path planning and 3-D visualization software company.
Rocky comes to TerraSpark most recently from Baker Hughes Reservoir Software where he was the General Manager of the Western Hemisphere. Prior experience include President of the US Region at Paradigm Geophysical, US Sales Manager and Global Strategic Accounts Manager at Landmark Graphics (now Halliburton.)

Rocky has over 27 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry as a petroleum landman and prospecting geologist. His management and sales executive background includes several high technology software and service firms supplying the upstream industry. He brings a broad and significant understanding and knowledge of upstream applications and their associated values utilized in exploration and development including seismic processing, geological and geophysical interpretation and mapping, drilling, petrophysics, geomodeling, 3D interpretation and rendering, reservoir simulation and modeling and services provided utilizing these technologies in house.
