Quest College announced today that it has been awarded the 2012 Career Colleges and Schools of Texas (CCST) “School of the Year” Award. The award recognizes career schools that show an extraordinary commitment to the education of its students, the improvement of its community, and the pursuit of excellence in compliance with educational requirements. The honor was handed down at the annual CCST conference in Dallas, Texas on October 11, 2012.
As a member of CCST, a non-profit association dedicated to the ethical and compliant operations of secondary schools, Quest College joins approximately 200 colleges and schools in the state offering a wide range of occupational curriculum. These colleges and schools enable more students to reach their career goals, provide employers with a large pool of skilled workers, and ultimately expand the state's tax base by attracting and expanding business in Texas. CCST is the state association for private, post secondary that prepare people for today's jobs and great careers.
The award culminates a period of growth for the college, and was greeted with great excitement by school president Jeanne Martin, who expressed her feelings in a statement to all staff and faculty.
“The last two years of operations have brought a series of wonderful changes to our campus,” said Martin. “This award is shared by the many people who make learning and educating at Quest College an experience that is unrivaled. Our journey to be a beacon of excellence in our industry will not stop with this acknowledgement. We challenge ourselves to reclaim this honor year after year. We expect excellence, our students deserve it.”
Quest College offers morning, afternoon and evening courses in allied health, including vocational nursing, business and computer programming fields. Its unique training concepts were developed by its founders, after 40 years of combined experience in the field of education.
Additionally, Quest College offers programs in cosmetology, esthetics, nail technician and instructor training at its branch in the RIM. Formerly referred to as Sajoir, the training center is now Quest College Beauty, Health and Wellness Center at Sajoir in the RIM. Sajoir provides professional salon and spa services in a state-of-the-art location, which also houses the newest branch of Quest College.

About Career Quest
Quest College was originally formulated in September 1995 as Career Quest and was approved and licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission a year later, and held its first in January of 1997. Since then, Quest College has continued to expand into the medical career fields and recently was approved by the Texas Board of Nursing to teach the Vocational/ Practical and Nursing Program. Their mission is to provide quality, short term, technical and personal skills needed to enter the job market.
