What makes this treatment so desirable is that it offers an encouraging solution to men and women who are in the early to moderate stages of hair loss.

Tacoma, WA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012

Robert Niedbalski, D.O., a hair transplant surgeon and medical director at Northwest Hair Restoration in Tacoma, WA, recently presented the results from his latest study on the use of ACell+PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections to regenerate eyebrow hair at the 20th Annual International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) Scientific Meeting in the Bahamas. During his session, “Treatment of Eyebrow Hypotrichosis with ACell + PRP” on October 19th, Dr. Niedbalski highlighted the positive eyebrow regeneration results he has experienced in patients that have been given the ACell+PRP treatment– a procedure that has already shown to be effective in hair re-growth on the scalp.

Using the FDA-approved ACell wound healing powder MatriStem® MicroMatrix™ and a blood serum combination, Dr. Niedbalski is able to activate stem cells present in scalp tissue and significantly increase the rate of hair re-growth in the brow area. This new hair restoration treatment is able to dramatically regenerate hair follicles in an area that has previously stopped growing hair.

Men and women with little to no eyebrows took part in this year-long study. Patients who had residual micro-hairs on their brow experienced the best results with fuller, natural looking eyebrows just months after the first treatment. Dr. Niedbalski estimates that results should last 3-5 years.

Doctors from around the world have been following this study and have expressed interest in receiving training from Dr. Niedbalski on this ACell+PRP treatment in order to offer it in their own practices, especially for the treatment of hereditary hair loss.

“What makes this treatment so desirable is that it offers an encouraging solution to men and women who are in the early to moderate stages of hair loss,” said Dr. Niedbalski. “ACell+PRP offers a desirable option for people who may not want to undergo hair transplantation or who may not be a good candidate for surgical hair restoration.”

Dr. Niedbalski is the only doctor in the Pacific Northwest to offer the revolutionary ACell+PRP injections to regenerate hair. This hair regeneration technique was discovered by Dr. Gary Hitzig, who Dr. Niedbalski collaborated with to offer the treatment to his patients in the Seattle – Tacoma, WA area. Dr. Niedbalski will also be speaking about the use of ACell+PRP at the St. Louis University School of Medicine 4th Annual Hair Transplant Workshop on November 15 – 18, 2012.
