Liqueurs de France, the UK’s premier importer and distributor of absinthe, has relaunched its Nemesinthe absinthe in a stylish new bottle. The new-format will be available to the on and off trade from 1st November in time for Christmas and marks the start of an extensive marketing campaign for Nemesinthe during 2013.
Ian Hutton, Director of Liqueurs de France the Nemesinthe brand owner said “Nemesinthe absinthe was launched in 2009 to provide an entry-level absinthe and to complement our existing range of absinthe. To mark its third anniversary we have relaunched it in a stylish new bottle which will enhance its visual impact on both the back bar and retailer’s shelf.”
Nemesinthe, which was awarded Silver and Best in Class on its launch at the 2010 London IWSC, was the first ‘Absinthe par essences’ to be created by Liqueurs de France and was seen by some as a controversial move by a company focused on premium distilled absinthes. However its introduction was a shrewd move aimed at capturing the market for more affordable absinthes and providing an entry point for consumers new to absinthe. Nemesinthe is now well established in the UK market and is exported to India and Lebanon.
Liqueurs de France (LDF) imports and distributes absinthes from 11 artisanal distillers across 6 countries. Established in 2002, LDF were the first company to offer artisanal absinthes in the UK and now export globally to both consumers and bar owners.
