Tacoma, WA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
In 1982, Andy Warhol proposed an audacious, larger-than-life work of art for the roof of the Tacoma Dome featuring his signature flowers. The installation was never realized but, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, the artist’s iconic Flowers and his vision for the Dome are coming to Tacoma Art Museum in an original exhibition, Andy Warhol’s Flowers for Tacoma, on display November 3, 2012-February 10, 2013.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Hotel Murano, downtown Tacoma’s destination for art and indulgence, is offering the exclusive Flowers for Tacoma hotel package so Warhol fans can make a trip to see this exhibition into an inspirational, art-filled getaway.
