BlueWave Computing, LLC, Atlanta’s leader in business IT support, cloud computing, Internet security and managed services, received a Smart Business World Class Customer Service Award presented by Comcast Business Class this week. BlueWave Computing was recognized by Comcast Business Class for establishing strong service standards including the implementation of service metrics; the inclusion of customer panel recommendations to improve business practices; and for hiring top talent which consistently exceeds customer expectations.

The World Class Customer Service Award recognizes companies who embody the best in providing exceptional customer service. A panel of judges selects recipients based on several criteria including customer service best practices, customer recognition practices and a company culture which encourages employees to deliver superior customer service by thinking of the customer first.

This year, 25 Atlanta area companies were named as finalists including BlueWave Computing.

“It is an honor and privilege to be named as a recipient of the World Class Customer Service award, and specifically for the service standards we implement in our daily operations,” said Dr. Steven Vicinanza, BlueWave Computing CEO. “We believe our people and processes provide the type of quality customer experience that sets us apart from all others. We take the time to hire the right people who take the fear out of technology and put our customers at ease, and we measure our performance after each service call to make certain we’ve delivered on our promise of superior customer service.”

Now in its 15th year of operation, BlueWave Computing has retained its original client base while growing at an annual rate of 30%. In addition to BlueWave Computing’s World Class Customer Service Award, BlueWave Computing has been named for the past 5 years as a Top 25 nominee in the Cobb County Small Business of the Year awards. BlueWave has also been named to the Inc. 500/5000 list for the past five years, as well as winning the Atlanta Consumers’ Choice Award in 2010, 2011 and 2012, the AJC Best Workplace award in 2011, and the CRN Fast Growth 100 award in 2010 and 2011.

“BlueWave Computing’s recent selection as a World Class Customer Service award winner is well deserved,” said BlueWave Computing client Ron Gulley, Director of Compliance and Communications, Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates. “I handle 95% of the calls to the support call center for our organization. Every time I call, I am greeted in a friendly and professional manner by BlueWave staff. I would highly recommend them as a company with which to do business based on the customer service we receive.”
