All of our NCS coaches are eager to get down to Orlando in February to help teach as well as evaluate the top kickers, punters and long snappers from all across the country and outside the US.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
The National Camp Series(NCS) is starting preparations for Super Camp VII, to be held February 16-17, 2013, in Orlando, FL, according to NCS founder and retired NFL kicker Michael Husted.
"All of our NCS coaches are eager to get down to Orlando in February to help teach as well as evaluate the top kickers, punters and long snappers from all across the country and outside the US,” says Husted. "This is the only camp where the specialists will have a chance to work with some of the best kicking coaches in the world."
According to Husted, who kicked in the NFL for 9 years and is now a kicking coach in San Diego, CA, the Super Camp is a two day high school kicking camp for kickers, punters, and long snappers seeking high level kicking instruction and the knowledge to play at the college level.
"The quality of instructors for our Super Camp is outstanding and continues to grow every year,” says Husted. “The NCS Network is committed to helping young athletes learn proper technique as well as to help them navigate through the recruiting process so that they can leverage their sport to get a college education.”

"2012 has shaped up to be the best year yet for the National Camp Series and the Kicking IndeX (KIX) Player Rating System,” says Husted. “Over the last year, kicking coaches across the country used the KIX System to rate high school kicking specialists who were preparing for high school and college football.”
“After a strong 2011, and having introduced our KIX System, we were positioned extremely well to leverage analytics to showcase our athletes, and to provide ‘objective high school kicking specialists statistics' to college and university coaches,” says Husted.
Husted says that by utilizing its Kicking IndeX (KIX) Player Rating System, NCS provides an objective evaluation platform for student-athletes who want to showcase their capabilities to colleges and universities for recruiting purposes.
By sorting through over six years of historical event data, the KIX system determines a kicker’s rankings by cross-referencing player data to determine how the athletes stack up against others, both presently and historically.
Husted said kickers who attend the camp will:
*Receive Small Group Instruction.
*Meet and Learn from Many Highly Qualified Kicking Game Experts.
*Get Objective Evaluations using the NCS KIX Player Rating System.
*Make New Friends from Different Regions.
*Compete and Learn How to Manage Pressure Situations
Husted says kickers, punters and long snappers will get hands on training and evaluations from an outstanding group of instructors including former NFL, current UFL, college kickers, punters and long snappers such as:
•Billy Cundiff (Baltimore Ravens/Cundiff Kicking)
•Nick Novak (San Diego Chargers/Nick Novak Kicking School)
