Milford, MA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
The United States Secret Service Uniformed Division Benefit Fund (“US SSUDBF) and Photofabrication Engineering, Inc. (“PEI”) teamed up to create the 20th in a series of distinctive Holiday Christmas Ornaments to assist in raising critically needed funds for charitable assistance to injured or ill Uniformed Division members in need, their spouses and children, “Ten Point” military veterans with serious service-connected injuries as well as aid to Law Enforcement Community members with special needs.
“The US SSUDBF is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization having got its start in 1946 as the White House Police Benefit Fund,” states Laura Baker, Chairman of the Board. Ms. Baker continues, “tragically, on November 1st of 1950, one of our own, Officer Leslie Coffelt, was killed and two other officers injured while defending President Truman during an assassination attempt at Blair House so it seems fitting that we are able to make the joint announcement of our special 20th Holiday Christmas Ornament commemorative today.”
Sean Lynch, Vice Chairman of the US SSUDBF Board, observes that “our rich history in charitable works is complemented by partnering with PEI, a Massachusetts company that was founded in 1968, as their design team really ‘gets it’ and we strongly believe in Made In USA sourcing.”
Doug Pyron, PEI’s designer of the US SSUDBF ornament, adds “that it is always a special pleasure to work with service organizations that make a difference in their communities. I am particularly glad that the country at large now has the opportunity to see and support the US SSUDBF through on-line sales at The White House Gift Shop whereas in past years the public had limited access since the store was in the basement of the Old Executive Office Building.”
Brook Spaulding, Director of Sales & Marketing at PEI, describes the partnership between US SSUDBF and PEI as “one of trust and mutual understanding … we both anticipate 2012 and 2013 as being break out years for the US Secret Service Uniformed Division Benefit Fund.”
