“I was inspired to write this book to help and explain to ordinary people that the spirit world is very much alive,” author Beth Nevery explains. In her new book “Recognizing a Gift from God: The Diary of an ordinary woman's extraordinary experiences” (published by Balboa Press), Nevery shares with readers the heartfelt account of a lifetime of encounters and experiences of her realization that God and deceased loved ones are always with them.
Nevery believes the spirit world is in contact with the living, always sending messages and signs to their loved ones. She says that she has had multiple experiences throughout her life, and urges readers not to be afraid or think they themselves are crazy when these unusual experiences happen to them.
An excerpt from “Recognizing a Gift from God”:
“We all get messages from loved ones in heaven; it just is the difference of recognizing these messages. Some people do and most want to make reason of what happens to them. I am personally very open to receiving that I feel blessed and lucky to be able to acknowledge my messages. It is very normal to try to rationalize things, that is our nature, but I feel I am a step above that. Sometimes things happen that you cannot rationalize and you either accept it or you don’t.”
“Recognizing a Gift from God” is a down-to-earth diary of Nevery’s experiences as a lay person, speaking to readers on their level.
