Lord, where do you want me to start?
La Porte, IN (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
Never one to let his condition slow him down, Monsignor Ed Litot, author of the book “Police Chaplain's Diary: A Happy Life Despite 80 Years of Fibromyalgia” (published by AuthorHouse) – which is getting a revived marketing push – reached many of his life goals in spite of living with fibromyalgia.
Litot is a self-described workaholic. Although he lived most of his life dedicated to work – not to mention struggling with a lifelong illness – Litot enjoyed many unique experiences over the years. In “Police Chaplain’s Diary he looks back at his life, which he calls both challenging and fulfilling, focusing on his accomplishments as well as his experiences living with fibromyalgia.
An excerpt from “Police Chaplain’s Diary”:
“I’ve known several elderly priests who have looked back on their years of ministry and commented, ‘I wouldn’t have missed it for anything, and I wouldn’t do it over again for anything.’ I am in complete agreement with them. Amen! But if Jesus were to nudge me and suggest that I do it over again, I hope I’d smile and ask, ‘Lord, where do you want me to start?’”
Litot says there is no other book like “Police Chaplain’s Diary” because it discusses experiences that only he could have lived through. But, his background as a priest shines throughout the book, and he says, “I would like readers to take away the message of ‘love your neighbor’ from my book.”
