"If your home is your sanctuary, then it needs to offer objects of meaning and depth so the mind and spirit may flourish." Barbara Bacigalupi
Napa, California (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
On November 1, 2012, a new website store which will serve as the one and only place to find all of the designs from Barbara Bacigalupi, opens at her namesake website http://www.barbarabacigalupi.com. The site focuses on responding to the needs and interests of boomers, and perceptive, on-the-go women of all ages who will not compromise on the quality of lifestyle accessories and who seek to find greater meaning in the objects they purchase.
“Time has come to directly recognize that women of style, who purchase excellent quality goods and services, do so in great part out of their deep appreciation for nature, humanity and core human values,” says Bacigalupi. “I intend to offer all of my designs in the value-added context of having substantive meaning by virtue of the inspirational messages that I write,” continues Bacigalupi. “Shoppers will not only have unique collectibles that can be passed from one generation to the next, but also the potential for spending time at the site learning, relaxing, and thinking more deeply about the future vision they hold for their lives,” concludes Bacigalupi.
The content-driven approach is expected to respond to the well-documented preference among Boomers for exploring and learning, as opposed to the more limited practice of “get-in” and “get-out” shopping. A learning center which articulates the genesis and purpose for each product line in the context of cultural heritage and personal growth techniques, is complemented with an easy to use on-line store that offers all the conveniences of advanced shopping cart technologies.
Bacigalupi began designing some ten years ago and her efforts created a unique product line for home decor, often referred to as “Jewelry for the Home to Inspire the Spirit,” has enjoyed limited exposure at high-end, boutiques, spas and design studios.

Called TRULYHUMANmedalllions, each style centers on a medallion depicting Eastern or Western symbolism. Most often carved by hand from new jade or serpentine stone, the medallion is surrounded by semi-precious gemstones, each has a beaded loop for hanging on door handles, looping over drawer pulls and armoire keys, and slipping onto candles and napkins, and so much more. For the first time, the entire collection of this hallmark line will be available directly to consumers at the site, along with Bacigalupi’s other product lines including her extensive collections of wearable jewelry, new lines of silk pillows, and limited edition re-designs using vintage Japanese Obi (kimono sashes); all of which will roll out and expand over the next few months. In celebration of the launch, shoppers will be offered special value pricing for all items.
