FierceMarkets is proud to announce its first three weeks of publishing FierceGovernment four days a week.
FierceGovernment, which covers federal operations, budgets, workforce, metrics and outcomes, as well as innovations and science the government creates as a result of its unparalleled scientific apparatus, has gained a growing audience since its launch in mid-2011, originally as a weekly publication. The free subscription email newsletter and corresponding web site are written for government professionals.
Starting on Oct. 15, FierceMarkets increased the frequency of the publication, and readers have responded positively with increased views and subscription rates.
Expansion of FierceGovernment’s frequency comes during a time of general growth within FierceMarkets government publications, which recently crossed the threshold of more than 50,000 email newsletter subscribers.
With its expansion to four times a week, the editorial team behind FierceGovernment and other FierceMarkets government publications (FierceGovernmentIT, FierceHomelandSecurity, FierceMobileGovernment) delivers a combination of fast-paced news, in-depth analysis and information unavailable elsewhere.
"More issues per week permits additional agency coverage and creates an opportunity to penetrate deeper into topics such as workforce issues, said David Perera, executive editor of the FierceMarkets Government Group. “How the government fulfills its mission is often overlooked in media coverage–it’s there, at the intersection of policy and operations that we’ve found our growing audience,” he added.
Ron Lichtinger, FierceMarkets Government Group publisher, said the FierceMarkets government group has built momentum with readers and with advertisers who want to reach government workers.
“Government readers are discerning and it’s gratifying that our brand of coverage is increasingly recognized and trusted,” he said.
FierceMarkets publishes 43 publications and has a total readership of more than 1.3 million.
