Hiersche, Hayward, Drakeley and Urbach, PC congratulates new associate attorney Andrew Ostapko on his admittance to the State Bar of Texas. Andrew joined the Corporate and Business Transaction practice group at HHDU in August, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas on November 1, 2012.
A 2012 magna cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Andrew was Order of the Coif and co-founded the Labor and Employment Law Student Association. He was also CLE Editor and Staff Editor for the SMU Law Review Association. Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, cum laude, from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.
While in law school, Andrew gained experience through work for Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn, U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Andrew was also privileged to assist Professor Ellen Pryor in drafting Chapter 10 of the Restatement of the Law Third Torts.
