aecKnowledge is an incredible resource for me to create a dynamic classroom experience.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2012
aecKnowledge, a leading provider of advanced online continuing education (CE) for architects, engineers and construction professionals, announces that Academy of Art University's School of Architecture, one of only 95 Master of Architecture programs accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board, has utilized their online continuing education curricula. The San Francisco university will incorporate two courses—Marketing & Business Development and Essentials and Financial Management: Beyond Intuition—into the syllabus of Architectural Professional Practices, a course in the School of Architecture’s Master degree program taught by Elizabeth Tippin, Esq., LEED AP, AIA/Allied Member, who is also outside general counsel to several architectural firms.
“aecKnowledge is a great resource that I regularly use in my class. Both the continuing education curricula and kTalks provide excellent speakers and current substantive information critical to graduate architecture students,” stated Elizabeth Tippin, Esq., LEED AP. "My students commented that both the experience of the speakers and the quality of the program provide critical foundational information. As the professor, the additional benefit of having a quiz at the end demonstrates that the students have understood the content of the course. aecKnowledge is an incredible resource for me to create a dynamic classroom experience.”
According to Michael Strogoff, FAIA, Founder & President, aecKnowledge, “As part of our effort to offer knowledge and insights gained through years of practice to students in professional programs, we are thrilled that AAU has embraced our online learning. AAU’s graduate students are an important constituent in our mission to change the way members of the architecture, engineering and construction community collaborate with and learn from one another.”
aecKnowledge's online courses are approved for continuing education units by AIA/CES and/or GBCI. The courses are also accepted by many states to fulfill mandatory CE requirements for ongoing licensure. Additional materials, including free course previews, written transcripts, course descriptions, learning objectives and presenter biographies are also available. Special group rates are available to firms and professional organizations.
