(Nov. 1, 2012) – Greenberg Traurig attorneys Ian Ballon and Susan Heller have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) list of “Who’s Who in L.A. Law: Angelenos to Know in Intellectual Property Law” and are featured in the publication’s Oct. 29 special supplement.
This recognition honors 40 Los Angeles County attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in IP transactions and/or litigation, according to the LABJ publisher.

Ian Ballon is a nationally recognized Internet and intellectual property litigator based in both Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. He represents technology, media, and entertainment companies in complex copyright, IP, and Internet-related litigation and counseling, including the defense of privacy class action suits. Ballon has served as lead counsel in numerous lawsuits involving novel and complex copyright, Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), trademark infringement, cybersquatting, sponsored link, Internet advertising and other claims under the Lanham Act, as well as more traditional software copyright and trade secret cases.
