Lorna Kleidman, Kettlebells Fitness Instructor, Comments on Weight Loss Article for Women Over 40

In a recent publication of The Huffington Post detailing weight loss tips for women over 40, Lorna Kleidman, creator of kettlebell fitness program KettleX, contributes her expertise.

On November 7, kettlebell exercise instructor Lorna Kleidman comments on an article written by Dr. Kahndee Ahnaimugan, weight loss doctor and contributor to The Huffington Post, which provides a detailed weight loss instruction for women over 40. Kleidman expands on the doctor’s weight loss suggestions with fitness advice.

According to Dr. Ahnaimugan, women over 40 are looking for a more long term weight loss program over the immediate and frequently ineffective diet programs.
Ahnaimugan commented on weight loss for women over 40 stating, “Diets don't work, especially for women over 40. It's time to abandon them as a solution for weight loss. Instead change your perspective to doing things that you know will last. This is the true path to long-term weight loss.”

In the article, Dr. Ahnaimugan advises women over 40, “Whichever way you choose to lose weight, you should always feel that it is something that you are willing to do for the rest of your life. Many people start doing things and, if they're being honest with themselves, are unlikely to continue in that manner for longer than a few weeks. This is not the way to lose weight for good.” Dr. Ahnaimugan suggests changing habits, abandoning detoxes and practicing “the double Ps,” patience and persistence.

Kettlebell exercise fitness instructor Lorna Kleidman agrees with Dr. Ahnaimugan’s medical advice stating, “It’s important to be realistic about your approach to fitness and weight loss, and have measurable goals, this way you can feel good about your progress. Incorporating at least 20 minutes of daily exercise will not only make you feel good but will help speed up weight loss.”
