Walleye™ Technologies has been invited to present its millimeter wave imager technology at the NAVEOD (Naval Explosive Ordinance Disposal) Defense Security Conference on November 7, 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Whitney Weller, Vice President Security Products, will present and demonstrate Walleye’s next generation portable millimeter wave imager technology and its applications in homeland and military security. “Our Model 24S Surface Penetrating Imager has several applications in Homeland Security and has a clear role in the detection of explosive devices. This conference is an opportunity to present the imager technology to leaders in the field of explosive device detection,” says Weller.

The patented millimeter wave imager is a breakthrough product that will have a significant effect on how those in the homeland security market perform inspection of suspicious packages and individuals. Unlike the current millimeter wave portals now employed at airports, the Walleye Model 24S imager is portable at less than 4 lbs. The battery-powered, hand-held imager can be quickly deployed to field situations and will give security and military personnel added flexibility to perform non-contact, non-invasive inspections for explosives and other contraband.
