Cooper’s Revenge, the debut novel by first-time author and former Central Intelligence Agency Operations Officer T.L. Williams, is now available on ExpertSubjects.com. The novel is a riveting account of the impact of improvised explosive devices on U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Using his insider’s knowledge of both Middle Eastern affairs and United States military operations, Williams expertly weaves together the tale of Navy Seal Logan Alexander, who is out to avenge the death of his younger brother, Cooper, who was killed in an ambush while on a tour of duty in the Iraq War.
“I was inspired by the number of wounded warriors who have emerged from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, determined to lead full and productive lives,” said Williams. “Iran has been instrumental in providing weapons and training to terrorist groups, which they use to maim and kill American and allied soldiers. While international attention is directed more at the issue of Iran's nuclear ambitions, the fact of Iran's support for terrorism, while often discussed, has not invited a commensurate level of international censure. My hope in writing this book is to reinvigorate public awareness and media attention to the Iranian regime's reign of terror.”
About Cooper’s Revenge
Navy Seal Logan Alexander is trying to put his life back together following a career-ending injury in Afghanistan when he learns that his younger brother, Cooper, has been killed in an ambush while on patrol with his Ranger unit in Iraq. As Alexander delves into the circumstances leading to Cooper’s death, he learns of the role that the secret arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Qods Force, plays in exporting terror abroad. Alexander vows to avenge his brother’s death. With the financial backing of a Kuwaiti billionaire and a group of like-minded Special Forces operatives, Alexander conceives a plan that takes his team to the Sonora Desert, Europe and the Middle East, where he comes face-to-face with the man responsible for Cooper’s death.
