Steve Malnight, vice president of customer energy solutions for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), will give the keynote address at this year’s PLMA’s Fall 2012 Conference: The future of demand response and its driving factors. At PG&E, Mr. Malnight is responsible for the company’s expanding portfolio of demand-side customer solution offerings, which encompass energy efficiency, demand response, time-variable electric pricing options, automated energy management, electric vehicles and on-site customer generation.
This year’s keynote address will mark Mr. Malnight’s first at the renowned gathering of demand-side management practitioners and industry thought leaders from across North America. His speech is expected to address the future of demand response at PG&E and the role of dynamic pricing.
Mr. Malnight will be joined by other industry guest speakers from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories and the Electric Power Research Institute.
