Everyday, people face a variety of experiences that either make or break them. Most of them do not understand that everything that happens in their lives is a work of Divine Grace. How will they come to realize this truth? Author John Garland Thayer has found a good way to remind them that all the events—both good and bad—happening in their lives connect to serve God’s Will in his book, Moments of Mystery and Wonder, a revealing and inspirational compilation that offers wisdom and enlightenment to all readers.
This book is a collection of true stories—of poetry and prose—about the work of Divine Grace as experienced by the author along with 23 selected poems. It is wittingly woven to enlighten those who are still seeking for an answer about how their joys and sorrows could be related to God’s Will. Thayer believes that this volume will inspire readers to deeply examine their own relationships to uncover some clues and meaning. It will encourage them to find the truth whether the events happening in their lives are merely twists of fate or truly the work of God. Each story in this collection is unique in content and has one purpose—to glorify God for His activity in wonderful and sometimes mysterious ways.
Packed with stories that are not intended to support or deny a belief in angels of miracles, but to offer nourishment to people’s faith in God, Moments of Mystery and Wonder is an eye-opening instrument that will allow readers to witness God’s presence in their life, his protection, his guidance, his answers to prayers, and his consistent love and forgiveness.
This book will be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on November 7-10, 2012.
