Florida Sterling Council has announced that Randy Ledbetter, Vice President of Business Development for DTZ, a UGL Company, has been appointed Chairman-Elect on its executive committee.

Florida Sterling Council has announced that Randy Ledbetter, Vice President of Business Development for DTZ, a UGL Company, has been appointed Chairman-Elect on its executive committee. The committee oversees the Florida Sterling Council with the Governor's Sterling Award for Performance Excellence and all activities that comprise the Sterling processes.

Anticipating the coming year, Chairman Elect Ledbetter said, “As the Council moves to reinvent our position in the marketplace, we have expanded our performance management assessment offerings through a myriad of new tools and training opportunities.”

Mr. Ledbetter has accumulated more than 30 years of facilities management experience and has published numerous articles related to the topic of facilities management, including “Benchmarking Your Facilities Management Operations,” and “Making Your Facilities Provider a Business Resource.” He is currently Vice President and member of the North American Operating Committee for DTZ, a UGL Company, and is responsible for all Facilities Management Business Development activities in North America. He is an active member of NACUBO, CoreNet, AFE, IFMA, and APPA. M. Ledbetter was the 2004 recipient of APPA’s prestigious Eagle Award for his contributions. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. and an Masters of Business Administration from Radford University in Radford, Va.

Sterling's Annual Conference is exclusively designed to teach participants how to elevate performance and increase productivity.
