According to a report by AllFacebook hacker group Anonymous is targeting Zynga for an attack on November 5th. Samuel Junghenn founder of Digital Marketing Agency Think Big Online says this could deal another blow to an already troubled company.
“Zynga has had some problems lately especially since the latest changes Facebook has made and this would be another blow for them. It’s unfortunate that hackers like this are attacking frequently used social networks and disrupting normal business activity.” Said Mr Junghenn
The threat was made on a new forum AnonNews that is said to be the news platform for Anonymous, here’s what they had to say:
“Zynga customers and Facebook users, we are Anonymous. During the last few days, Anonymous has been targeting Zynga for the outrageous treatment of its employees and its actions against many developers.” They Said.
“We have come to believe that the actions of Zynga will result in massive layoffs of 1,000 people and legal actions against everyone who speaks to the public about this plan. It will also come to end of the U.S. game market as we know it, as all this jobs will be replaced in other more convenient financial countries.”
While the right to object is a freedom allowed to all but when this affects businesses and employees this kind of activity should be condoned.
