Kansas City Club Opens its Doors to Celebrate its 130th Anniversary with Benefit Party and Silent Auction for Local Charity Coats for Kids.

Saturday November 17, 2012, The Kansas City Club will open its doors to throw the event of the century. Club members will honor the long tradition of the club and raise money for local charity Coats for Kids. Dance to the sounds of Neon Blue and get a chance to play a hand a Harry Trumans Legendary Poker Table.

“We are excited to have this anniversary celebration and open the club to new members throughout the community. We want the greater Kansas City area to know the long history of the Club,” said Terry Brady, Club President."

The Kansas City Club, will celebrate its 130th anniversary by hosting a party on November 17, 2012. The Club, founded in 1882 will hold the celebration and silent auction to honor The Club’s remarkable history and raise funds for local charity, Coats for Kids. The Party will pay tribute to the history of The Kansas Club and honor those who have played a role in The Club’s establishment as a cornerstone of Kansas City Culture.

We want the greater Kansas City area to know the long history of the Club,” said Terry Brady, Club President. “The Club’s philanthropic efforts, the relationships developed at the club and the camaraderie that comes with membership in the club are important to Kansas City life.”

The 130th Anniversary Party will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Kansas City Club. 918 Baltimore Avenue Kansas City, MO. The tickets range from $70.00 per person or $130.00 per couple. This includes unlimited wine and beer, heavy hors d’oeuvres and dancing to the sounds of Neon Blue. In addition guests will have a chance to bid on the silent auction, including a chance to play Poker at Harry Truman’s Poker Table, a chance on “A Night on the Town” drawing and one “KC Royale” – the Club’s NEW signature Kansas City Club Cocktail.

Not a member, no problem – For the first time in its history, The Kansas City Club is opening its doors to nonmembers. For the price of the event, nonmembers may take part in club activities until December 31, 2012.

“The “Presidential Membership,” is a perfect way to meet the members of the club and partake in the most exciting part of the year, from the award winning Thanksgiving Dinner to the exciting New Years Eve Party, Presidential Members will get to experience the best that the club has to offer.“ states Brady.

VIP tables for 8 are available for $800.00 and includes all of the above PLUS reserved table with dedicated server, 16 chances in drawing, special signage, company name in program, VIP status at the event and a bottle service at your table.
