Insight Vision has just concluded a six month project to upgrades and improvements on the Vutek and D2 Camera Inspection Systems. This project has resulted in the implementation of over 30 different changes to the system that will result in a more robust and durable system. "We believe products always improve and never stop getting better. The cameras of the future will be built upon the changes we make today. " was stated by Joe Couto vice-president of Insight Vision. While a few of these changes maybe visible (improved packaging) many are internal and were made on the component level.
Insight Vision made these improvement with you, the customers, in mind. " You can buy with confidence knowing that when you purchase a Vutek or D2 Camera Inspection System, you not only get our professional expert advise but the best designed camera system in the industry, " was said by the Insight Vision engineering team. Up to 30 parts of the Vutek and D2 sewer camera systems were analyzed by the Insight Vision team for improvements in 2012. Most of the changes were driven by customers who wanted extra productivity out of their sewer inspection camera. The various tests and improvements ranged from freezing tests all the way to products manuals. " Nothing was off the table," was the theme on improvements. "If a customer wanted the camera to be better we will look seriously at the changes!" was said by Steve Napoleon, president of Insight Vision. Insight Vision's customers are always looking to the future and always pushing the line to developing quality equipment.
This constant improvement approach was successful because the team worked constantly on a 30 point inspection list. The changes and inspections ranged from basic incidentals all the way up to how the systems record and play. Insight Vision's philosophy is not about changing things because it looks cool or sounds good but changes that help a person inspect quicker and faster. " Customers want productivity from features that are noticeable which make little items less an issue on-site. All of us remember many years ago how difficult the industry had it with features like recording and disconnecting items. That has changed, units work so much better today because customers gave us the ideas then we implement it." was stated by Steve Napoleon.
