The New Orleans Saints took some hits in the off season but that hasn’t stopped WhoDat Nation from showing its passion for the team by launching a mobile application on appcatch.com.

The app was created by a Saints fan for Saints fans and provides a direct link for the nation to communicate over the course of the season.

The Saints and their fan base are an amazing story, beginning with the run in the 70s and 80s where those who showed up at the Super Dome wore paper bags over their heads (remember The ‘Aints) and the team was hapless at best. Hurricane Katrina changed the perception of the region, the facility (where many refugees of the storm were housed), and the people who were seen as resilient and steadfast.

The team became a reflection of its fan base, winning the 2009 Superbowl and ushering in WhoDat Nation, the legion of die hards who follow the Saints. The fan club name is part of a popular in-game chant that says "Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?"

Now that vibrant fan base is energized once again with a new mobile app for iOS and Android phones released on appcatch.com

The new app give members of the nation all of the latest New Orleans Saints news on their mobile device. You get the schedule, links to several popular Saints blogs, and link to the fan club’s social media postings. There is also a link to the WhoDat Nation website with an entire section dedicated to freeing head coach Sean Payton from his league-imposed exile.
