Garden Media’s Newsroom on Pinterest provides an inventive way to keep up with garden news and updates

Pinterest is proving to be a great medium for the home and garden industry, and we want our clients to have a strong presence on this exploding social media platform.

Pinterest is not the first place that comes to mind as an outlet for news or press releases. Yet, Garden Media Group continues to innovate by creating a pinboard that brings its clients’ content to users of the photo-based website.

Garden Media created the “Garden Media Newsroom” pinboard to allow its followers to receive up-to-date information and announcements on their clients’ new plants and garden products. “Having this information on Pinterest makes it easier for our clients to be found by everyone,” says Katie McCoy-Dubow, Creative officer at Garden Media.

“Our mission is to help our clients reach their marketing goals by promoting them with different public relations techniques,” explains McCoy-Dubow “Pinterest is proving to be a great medium for the home and garden industry, and we want our clients to have a strong presence on this exploding social media platform.”

Pinterest is used primarily by people who enjoy searching, finding, and organizing pictures of their interests. In recent months, businesses have steadily been promoting their products to potential customers. However, according to McCoy-Dubow, very few PR agencies have jumped at the chance to spread press releases and news through the popular social media channel.

“Creating a Pinterest newsroom is good for our business too. It allows us to develop new forms of content for our clients, drive traffic to our clients’ websites, and it puts us in front as trendsetters in incorporating new PR tactics,” says McCoy-Dubow.

The “Garden Media Newsroom” pinboard joins 39 other boards on their engaging Pinterest page. Stay updated with Garden Media Group and their clients’ news by viewing their new pinboard.
