OrlandoFest, the premiere competitive music festival in Orlando, Florida, today announced several new and exciting additions for its participants in year three!

Held in Orlando, Florida, this amazing music festival offers elementary, middle school, junior high and senior high school performance ensembles the chance to showcase their musical talents on stage before nationally recognized adjudicators. Each high school, junior high, middle school or elementary school may choose to participate in either a non-competitive or competitive music festival category, which includes a post-performance evaluation from a nationally recognized adjudicator. Following their music festival performance, each participating ensemble celebrates their performance by attending the high-energy OrlandoFest Awards Ceremony held at Universal Studios Florida®. OrlandoFest caters to choirs (concert, show, chamber and specialty), bands (concert, parade and jazz), orchestras, guitar ensembles, percussion ensembles and auxiliary units. Furthermore, participants get to experience the amazing excitement of Universal Orlando® Resort, as theme park admission is included in their OrlandoFest Package!

According to Tony Saccaro, Operations Director for OrlandoFest, “We have had the pleasure of hosting over 19,000 student performers in our first two years of OrlandoFest. Most participated in our music festival, itself, and many participated in our Performance Workshops, which offers an exciting alternative performance option. We are looking forward to our third year with much excitement as we’ve added New Inclusions to our competitive music festival to provide better value for our participants!” Several of the new inclusions include:
