SoftRock Announces Food Drive for Northeast Residents in Need after Sandy

“We have employees with family members in the region who are still struggling,” said SoftRock’s Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Romero.

SoftRock, an Orlando-based technology company, kicks off a canned food drive on Nov. 7 to aid those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Canned food and non-perishable food donations will be taken to the American Red Cross to help those who are in need of food due to the hurricane.

“We have employees with family members in the region who are still struggling,” said SoftRock’s Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Romero. “SoftRock also has several clients who were impacted by Sandy and we want to help those we know and others we don’t know who need help to get back on track.”

SoftRock will accept canned and non-perishable food donations at its Metrowest headquarters in Orlando through Monday, Nov. 12.
