Phil Cousineau's love of words spills out into the blogosphere with Huffington Post and "9 of the Most Beautiful Words in the English Language." Phil is also hitting the road for a California tour, evangelizing about how language and usage are mroe important than ever, especially during this election period when words are slung around to the point that they have no meaning. To spice up the common election-day prattle, Phil Cousineau offers these words: pseudomnesia, memory of things that never happened; malapropisms, wrong use of words, usually from trying to sound more intelligent than you really are; and Bafflegab, which is a 1950s Madison Avenue-speak to double-talk, from the words for confuse and speak, and so deliberately confusing speech.

Phil Cousineau's Southern California Tour:
11/7: The Inside Edge, Irvine - 7am
11/7: Warwick's, La Jolla - 7:30pm
11/8: Book Soup, Los Angeles - 7pm
11/9: Esalen Institute, Carmel - With Gregg Chadwick and Jeff Dowd
