Palumbo Wolfe & Palumbo is recognized as one of the top plaintiff law firms in the United States. Recently the firm received a Tier 1 ranking, the highest ranking a law firm can achieve in the 2013 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”

Several years ago, Best Lawyers partnered with U.S. News & World Report, the leading rankings publication in the nation, to rank law firms throughout the United States. The U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on an in-depth evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in their field of practice, as well as the review of additional information that is provided by the law firms themselves during the submission process. In order for a law firm to be eligible for a ranking, the firm must have at least one attorney who is included in Best Lawyers.

The 2013 “Best Law Firms” list was released on November 1, 2012. During the rigorous evaluation process, clients were asked to provide feedback about practice groups, using a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the strongest. Their feedback addressed the firm’s expertise, responsiveness, cost-effectiveness, understanding of the business, politeness, and whether or not they would refer someone to the firm.

For the peer evaluations, lawyers voted on expertise, responsiveness, cost-effectiveness, integrity, and whether they would ever refer someone to the firm, and whether or not they consider that firm a worthy competitor. Lawyers were also asked to vote on law firms that had a preeminent national presence in a specific practice area that they knew well. In addition to the information provided on these client and attorney surveys, the rankings incorporate 4.3 million evaluations from 68,761 leading lawyers collected by Best Lawyers® in its most recent annual survey.

The highest ranking firms scored within the first tier, and those firms that scored in the second highest percentage were ranked in the second tier, and so on. Palumbo Wolfe & Palumbo is honored to have received the Tier 1 ranking in the 2013 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”
