As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Patricia Lucock noticed that there was a rapid increase in anxiety around food and body image among her clients. Most of them viewed food as an enemy: it made them fat; it made them sick sad, and depressed. To help readers make sense of today’s modern “problem” with food, she presents The Cause and Effect Diet (released through Xlibris).

“Food is good for you . . . Food should always be enjoyable and enjoyed,” Lucock begins. “Yet in our current environment this simple fact seems to have been lost or distorted.” There are so many books, articles, television programs that claim to have quick fixes to long standing weight problems. In NLP there is a saying “If you want to understand, act.”

Inspiring change from the unconscious level, The Cause and Effect Diet does not promise a perfect body in such a short time. Rather, it tells readers what to eat and when to eat, helping them reclaim the right to feel good about themselves.

This slim volume is packed with valuable information on how readers can understand their own unique bodily requirements, control cravings, boost motivation, and find the way through the modern nutritional maze. It includes three separate and supporting hypnotic recordings that will match and pace the dieter’s progress.

Written in clear language for the serial dieter and the beginner, The Cause and Effect Diet will reveal the cause of one’s weight gain and make very clear the effects he or she can achieve.
