RUVAcards releases new holiday photo cards and personalized serving trays just in time for the holidays. Visitors to the company’s website can use their own photos to customize holiday cards and gifts.

We go beyond simply offering free holiday card templates. We want to help our customers create completely custom holiday cards and business holiday cards they’ll be dying to send.

RUVAcards announces the launch of their new do-it-yourself website. Developer Cindy Coughlin says the new products on their site are completely customizable, unlike their previous products.

“We are so excited to offer these new customizable products,” Coughlin says. “We go beyond simply offering free holiday card templates. We want to help our customers create completely custom holiday cards and business holiday cards they’ll be dying to send, as well as creative gifts like serving trays that can be personalized with photos, art or just about anything else. These are the perfect holiday gifts for friends.”

Visitors to the company’s website have complete control over the creation of their Christmas cards and holiday cards. They can use a variety of different fonts and colors and add their child’s artwork to them to create double-sided cards that are made from extremely heavy paper stock. RUVAcards even offers custom fonts designed by Yellow Design Studio, Indie Designers, Carol Fazio and ManvsGeorge, a 2012 National Stationery Show winner, so that customers can put their personal stamp on their holiday photo cards. For $1.49 the online retailer offers 8 ½ by 5 ½ flat cards, which can be personalized on both sides. A professional designer reviews each order, ensures that no mistakes in etiquette have been made and that the layout of both the photos and text is perfect, and then makes changes before sending it off to print. In addition RUVAcards does not penalize customers for ordering smaller quantities.

Website customers can also create personalized serving trays by scanning in their child’s artwork and adding their name or initials. Designs range from urban to elegant and coordinate with current color trends. Prices range from $36 to $45, so Coughlin says they could be a good option for those looking for holiday gifts under $50. The trays and their other customized products ship in two to three days.

Helloalbums, a small memory-keeping division of RUVAcards, recently released its Helloalbums iPad app, which enables customers to create photo books on their iPad. The app features exclusively designed holiday template by Michelle Snyder. Customers can choose from the Twinkle, Remembering or Cheers templates to build their photo book. In June 2012 Techweek selected the app to be featured in its Startup City in Chicago.

“Most people love snapping pictures and using apps like Instagram, but rarely do these photos leave our phones,” Coughlin says. “Our new Helloalbums iPad app is a fast, easy way to capture those memories in a fun, stylish way.”
