Besides that, the Predictive Dialer is a monitoring tool for analysing pre-processing and post-processing times.

In general, TelephoneIntegration connects Microsoft Dynamics CRM with various phone systems using TAPI. Furter options are Skype, OCS and Microsoft Lync including Lync Chat. The main user interface, a pop-up window called ‘balloon’, displays information (e.g. call direction, caller name, call duration, etc.) and provides several functions, for example opening regarding CRM-records, creating new records and activities, searching for CRM contacts/accounts/leads, starting outgoing calls straight away, etc. All calls are tracked and shown in the call history. A seperate TelephoneIntegration Lync Chat window displays all current chat-conversations and details about the instant messaging partners retrieved from CRM. The window offers several functionalities, such as opening the chat-partners' CRM records, creating a new contact, lead or account, storing chat conversations within CRM by creating chat- or letter-activities, etc.

The new Predictive Dialer for TelephoneIntegration provides the possibility to automatically or manually dial the numbers of CRM-records (accounts, contacts, users, etc.) which have been attached to marketing lists of call-campaign-activities. The lists with the selected records can be distributed to various users of a team for simultaneous processing. Callers can prepare for and rework calls within generally determined pre-processing and post-processing times. After the pre-processing time has expired, the Predictive Dialer automatically starts the call. In case callers need more preperation time, they can individually pause the countdown. In the post-processing phase, callers have the possibility to mark the call as succesful/failed or to reschedule it. After post-processing, pre-processing for the next call starts again. These options are available within a specific Predictive Dialer-header added to the CRM call-window. The header also includes details about the contacted record and the processed marketing-list. In case callers log off from the list, the remaining records to be called are allocated to the other callers.
