"I've been the first to purchase the Nintendo Wii and the 3DS. While it's been exciting, this is my last time to wait in line for a Nintendo product launch. I'm ready to pass the torch to someone else who is into gamer life as much as I am.
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) November 08, 2012
Dedicated Gamer and Nintendo fan Isaiah “Triforce” (that’s his legal middle name) Johnson wants to be the first person in the United States to get his hands on the new Nintendo Wii U, which has a scheduled launch date of November 18th. Johnson has been waiting patiently in line since October 23. Braving unseasonably cold New York City weather and the aftermath of superstorm Sandy, Johnson continues to wait outside the Manhattan Nintendo World Store to achieve his goal. But Johnson will have to wait more than two weeks to hand over his money to purchase the coveted game console. Duxter, the online social network for Gamers, will chronicle Johnson’s vigil at Duxter.com.
This isn’t the first time that Triforce has waited in line for a Nintendo product. He was the first to buy both the Wii and the 3DS. This time Triforce will have the help and support of Duxter and its online community of Gamers.
“I’ve been the first to purchase Nintendo products for the past eight years,” said Isaiah Triforce Johnson. “While it’s been exciting, this is my last time to wait in line for a Nintendo product launch. I’m ready to pass the torch to someone else who is into gamer life as much as I am.”
“Triforce epitomizes what gamer life is all about,” said Duxter CEO Adam Lieb. “Our entire Gamer community salutes him and is here to cheer him on.”
In the attached video, Johnson describes why he wants to be the first person to purchase the Nintendo Wii U and why this will be his last time to wait in line for a Nintendo launch. View the video here.
