Chad Case, former University of Nebraska football player and owner and operator of Max Muscle of Nebraska was recently selected to coach Football University’s (FBU) all-star 6th grade team for the National Championships.

Case’s team will play as Team Nebraska in Northern Iowa. They’ll face off against Team Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. If Team Nebraska does well, this championship will lay the groundwork for their participation in the National Championship in 2013 in San Antonio, Texas.

“I am incredibly honored to have been selected and I look forward to taking a team of extremely talented young men to compete against some high level competition. Having coached many of these players for 4 or 5 years now, I've had the privilege to really watch them develop into some extremely intelligent and fundamentally sound players; and I truly look forward to watching them compete on a bigger stage,” said Case.

The FBU is an invitation-only training program with the purpose of focusing on the development and enhancement, playmaking ability and skill of elite-level athletes in 6th to 11th grade. The training is provided by the NFL's top coaches and players with support of participating parents and local programs.
