Xeridiem strengthened the executive team with the appointment of Louis Weijers, Director of Business Development, reporting to Xeridiem President, Joseph Lee. Mr. Weijers comes to Xeridiem from Micro Machine, where he served as Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Weijers brings 16 years of leadership experience in various roles within the medical device industry. Most recently, he led Micro Machine in expanding account revenue with the addition of new accounts and increasing revenue with existing customer accounts. In addition, as Business Development Manager at ATEK Medical, he won the Highest Opportunities Award by consistently delivering significant quoted opportunities and exceeding expectations. Mr. Weijers managed two multimillion dollar business units at Stryker Corporation with international responsibilities and he was instrumental in launching a comprehensive product line of Image Guided surgery systems. He was also responsible for direct hospital sales and marketing activities within South Africa, Luxemburg, Belgium, Scandinavia, and The Netherlands. Prior to beginning his formal business career, Mr. Weijers served as an F16 “Falcon” Fighter Pilot and officer for the Royal Netherlands Air Force.
Mr. Weijers received his Bachelors of Science in Applied Physics, from the University of Eindhoven/Fontys Hogeschool, Eindhoven, Netherlands. In addition, he completed the ISO 13485:2003 Auditor’s Certification from Eastern Michigan University. He also speaks fluent German and Dutch.
