The current partisan political environment in the United States not only impacts domestic policy development and implementation, it concerns global audiences. But what people see on television or read in the media is never the full story.
Portland, Maine (PRWEB) November 08, 2012
Perry B. Newman, founder and principal of Atlantica Group LLC, an international business and policy development firm, will be speaking to audiences in St. Louis, Missouri, Orono and Portland, Maine and Moncton, NB (Canada) during the month of November, 2012.
Topics include "Israel and its Arab Citizens", "Globalization 2.0", and "NAFTA: What It Is, What It Isn't, and Why It Matters."
Newman's participation at the "Face a Face" in Moncton, New Brunswick, will be entirely in French, where he will join France's Consul General to the Atlantic Region of Canada on a panel to discuss global business opportunities.
"Sharing perspectives on international business and policy developments with diverse audiences is an important and highly stimulating element of our work at Atlantica Group and our Atlantica Analytics competitive intelligence division," said Newman.
"College and university groups as well as business gatherings are particularly intent on exchanging ideas with respect to global 'hot spots,' and with respect to the markets in which we're most active, especially the United States, Canada and Israel."
Newman, who has received awards from the European Union and from the state of Israel for his economic development and business initiatives, serves as Canada's Honorary Consul to the state of Maine. He has presented to audiences ranging from small college seminar groups to gatherings of hundreds of business and government officials.
"The current partisan political environment in the United States not only impacts domestic policy development and implementation, it concerns global audiences. Still, what people see on television or read in the media is never the full story and does not adequately reflect the nuance and positioning that takes place behind the confrontation and the headlines.
"In our presentations we peel back the layers of the onion to see what's really taking place, and what it means."
Newman will appear at the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri (November 9), the University of Maine Canadian-American Studies Center in Orono, Maine (November 13), at the "Face a Face" conference in Moncton, NB (Canada, November 17) and at a gathering of the World Affairs Council of Maine in Portland, Maine (November 27.) Persons and organizations interested in exploring a presentation by Mr. Newman are encouraged to contact him at Atlantica Group LLC on (207) 553-9228, or via his personal website, http://www.perrybnewman.com.
