Philadelphia’s popular Eddie Esq. Show for Savvy Seniors has been picked-up by Atlanta’s WCFO AM (1160). The show created as both a talk and variety show for a 50 and older (or as Eddie says, “wiser”) audience has guests who talk about issues important to seniors, such as Medicare, Social Security, senior health, dating, travel, entertainment but so much more.
Eddie Gadrix, host, creator and producer of the show has developed the show taking into account his own varied background in law, entertainment (as an entertainment lawyer) and music where the claims his 15 minutes fame as a 9-year old trombonist with the Tommy Dorsey orchestra. “I want the show to hold my senior listeners for the full hour and keep it moving and entertaining. We feature one special guest each week and compliment him or her with a senior comedienne, Chesta Drake, an astrologer, Toni Thomas, and music from yesteryear seniors recognize with no introduction.” Gadrix has a contemporary artist on most shows that being trumpeter/singer, Joe Gransden and his 16 piece “big band/jazz” orchestra which bridges the gap between generations.
Gadrix added, “We’re doing something different and special for a growing senior market. And we’re hopeful of adding new cities and stations to the syndicate.
