DALLAS (PRWEB) November 12, 2012
Baron and Budd, a national mesothelioma law firm, announced a $9 million mesothelioma verdict for a Dow Chemical worker and his family. The asbestos lawsuit was brought on behalf of Robert Henderson, deceased, his wife Tanya Henderson and daughters Adrienna and Za’Quoia (Henderson v. Dow Chemical Co., Dallas County District Court, No. 10-07003).
According to court documents, Henderson spent the majority of his career working in close proximity to products that contained asbestos. While working at Dow Chemical as a contract employee, Henderson was subject to asbestos exposure as a bystander to Dow insulators that contained asbestos. Dow Chemical is one of the largest chemical manufacturing plants in the world and employs thousands of people who may have been exposed to asbestos in the air as bystanders.
Baron & Budd mesothelioma lawyers John Langdoc and Alana Kalantzakis, represented the Hendersons at trial. Langdoc and Kalantzakis successfully proved that Robert Henderson experienced asbestos exposure while working at the facility caused his mesothelioma.
“We verified that Mr. Henderson was one of many workers who was exposed to asbestos at Dow Chemical and later came down with an asbestos cancer,” said mesothelioma lawyer John Langdoc. “Dow knew workers could get cancer.”
