Fashion Meets Art on the Runway

It was announced today that “one of a kind” Fashion Designer, Jeanie Madsen, will unveil her first collection after a 2-year hiatus, red carpet style, with emerging recording artist Emma Winkler (http://bitly.com/RSiV9w) opening it up in song on the runway. A very unique, mixed media, charity fashion show at the Jeanie Madsen Gallery, 1431 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90401 Thursday, November 15th 7-9pm.

It will be an event you don't want to miss.

Mixed media artist reception to follow includes abstract, street, and post pop art from artists Jennifer Verge, Scott Horton, John Park, Dasha Guilliam, Karen Fisher and more. Exhibit runs through December 30th.

Madsen’s career started in New York City at F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Design) now having over 20 years experience from every aspect of fashion from buying and wholesaling in the garment industry then into styling and wardrobe in the theater/film industry to then taking a wardrobe position with a Disney world tour that would eventually bring her to Santa Monica where she began her fashion design career at 36. Madsen designs for the woman that appreciates art - “clothing women in flattering, wearable art.” This is her second store where she brings all passions together... Art meets Wearable Art.
