Kent Fit Body Boot Camp is adding a new workout to their normal pre-holiday schedule this year in an effort to help generate relief aid for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The magnitude of the devastation caused by “Superstorm” Sandy continues to increase with each day as emergency responders & utility workers are inundated with requests for help.
“It’s easy to forget about the hardships of others when they are clear across the country” says Kent Fit Body owner, Connie Ness, “but this is exactly the time for the whole country to come together and show everyone how strong we are in the face of adversity and how caring we can be as a nation.”
Kent Fit Body Boot Camp is planning a 2 Hour Work-Out-A-Thon called “Build Your Body, Re-Build the Coast” to raise money and awareness for Hurricane Sandy Relief. The workout will be open to the public with a suggested donation of $20 for each 30 min segment. All donated funds will be sent directly to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief aid.
Build Your Body, Re-Build the Coast will be on Saturday, November 17th at Kent Fit Body Boot Camp located in Kent, WA at 22016 68th Ave S. (West Valley Highway). The workout will run from 8 AM to 10 AM and will be broken into four 30-minute segments. People are invited to do as many segments as they want. However, due to space limitations, each 1/2 hour segment will be limited to 24 people.
Please e-mail or call Connie to reserve your space for the workout(s) you want to do. Just bring a water bottle, workout towel and desire to help other people while you get a great workout!
“We want to send as much aid as possible back to the East Coast,” Connie said. “Come on down for a great workout and support a great cause so we can help raise money for the Hurricane Sandy victims.”
