The rapid evolution of KnowledgeEdge has been enhanced by this relationship, and as a council member, I hope to have the opportunity to influence the development of new services that will benefit both companies.

Health Care DataWorks, Inc. (HCD) Chief Technology Officer Michael Ostrander has been appointed to the Logicalis Customer Advisory Council. Ostrander, one of HCD’s founders, is responsible for leading the company’s product data architecture for its KnowledgeEdge™ healthcare business intelligence product suite as well as its internal technology infrastructure.

Logicalis, an international IT solutions and managed services provider, has entered into an innovative technical and hardware relationship with HCD.

As a Logicalis council member, Ostrander will join other Logicalis technology customers whose mission will be to share how they are using Logicalis services in the “real world” and how those services are impacting overall businesses. Council objectives include:

  •     Gathering and prioritizing customer recommendations
  •     Identifying and discussing customer best practices for outsourced services
  •     Discussing potential solutions and implementation approaches
  •     Involvement in the development of current and future services

“I am looking forward to sharing the insights we at Health Care DataWorks have gathered through our relationship with Logicalis,” Ostrander said. “The rapid evolution of KnowledgeEdge has been enhanced by this relationship, and as a council member, I hope to have the opportunity to influence the development of new services that will benefit both companies.”

A rapidly growing number of hospitals and health systems continue to turn to HCD for its pioneering KnowledgeEdge solution to gain deeper insight into their operations and make more informed decisions. Ostrander’s work with HCD’s Enterprise Data Warehouse and his more than 14 years experience in information management made him an ideal choice for the council, explains Mike Martin, senior vice president, Solutions and Services, for Logicalis.

“Health Care DataWorks is a dynamic, growing company that has tremendous insight into the value technology can bring to hospitals and health systems,” Martin said. “Michael brings fresh ideas and HCD’s unique perspective in healthcare IT to the table, helping Logicalis develop and deliver the most innovative solutions possible to our healthcare clients.”
