Hanover, Md. (PRWEB) November 08, 2012

Aerotek® Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services, today announced that it was named to the Top 100 Military Friendly Employers list for 2013 by G.I. Jobs for the second consecutive year. The list recognizes corporations that have made a significant commitment to hiring former military by assessing each company’s recruiting and hiring efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs as well as policies for National Guard and Reserve members called to active duty.

Aerotek provides military service members access to civilian jobs and helps them learn how to best leverage their training and expertise during the job search and interview process. Through contract, contract-to-hire and permanent job opportunities, Aerotek helps veterans and their spouses successfully transition back into civilian life.

“At Aerotek, we recognize the sacrifices our service members make every day for their country. As they transition back into civilian life, finding a job is the last thing that should burden them,” said Todd Mohr, president of Aerotek. “We are deeply committed to helping our nation’s service members, and we are honored to be included as an employer who advocates for veterans and their families.”

In its 10th year, G.I.Jobs’ Top 100 Military Friendly Employers list is based on a survey sample of 5,000 companies. Companies eligible for the list must have minimum annual revenue of $500 million. The survey is developed with the assistance of an advisory board consisting of leaders in the military recruitment community.
