Layover Adventure allows travellers on stopovers to connect with other locals to experience a range of travel deals.
Layover Adventure announces it’s official launch in London, United Kingdom. This announcement is marked by the launch of the Layover Adventure Beta Website in October 2012. The Layover Adventure concept was born in March 2012 to enable travelers to experience travel on a budget to enjoy layovers anywhere from four hours to three days.
“My goal when I founded Layover Adventure was to revolutionise the concept of stopover, by optimizing it, making it more enjoyable for the traveler with time”, said Founder, Ekua Boateng. “Stopover travel as a concept requires travellers to think differently about the value of an extended stopover. With layover Adventure, we provide our members with the opportunity to connect with other travellers who share similar or contrasting interests.”
Layover Adventure, provides a platform for members to meet new people on a layover and access travel deals from local and global brands. Members in the community use it to collaborate on solutions by seeking advice from each other as well as sharing inspiration for future travel.
To commorate its launch, Layover Adventure plans to co-host an event with EYP late in November 2012. For more information, visit beta.mylayoveradventure.com/ or http://www.eypglobal.org. Layover Adventure is free for travellers to join with no membership fees.
