There is growing evidence, that humankind may not be alone in the universe and that we may have been visited or even influenced in our past

The new action packed, sci-fi novel “Spread” (published by iUniverse) by Alotta Monks challenges the normal concept of disappearances with a mixture of aliens and slavery. “Many people go missing everyday with scarce trace or hint as to what happened to them,” says Monks. “There is also growing evidence, that humankind may not be alone in the universe and that we may have been visited or even influenced in our past.”
Jill is taken from Earth one day by a group of alien slave traders; she has her memory wiped and is quickly put to work as a servant to an alien monarch. Ethan attempts to find his best friend Jill and unintentionally gets himself captured and taken to the alien home world. There, he also gets his memory wiped and is put to work as a guard.
Jill begins to get her memory back which prompts her to escape. Ethan follows her and soon joins the band of raggedy slaves she leads to help them attempt to stop the slave trade and save humanity.
An excerpt from “Spread”:
Together they head back, to Hobbys. Ariel‘s limp alone proves that she’s willing to take some punishment for her sister. She’s another one of those tough but beautiful women. The kind that have helped to forge every New World, since the beginning of time. Bold action, with solid reasoning and resolve. Thick skinned to the bone, without hesitation from any pain. Able to take any punishments that survival usually demands of someone. Scared yet unafraid, respectful of all surrounding dangers. They each have the other and Orion, to keep their courage together. A pack of predators on a mission, on their way to rescue as many sisters as they can. They are all in this together, sister with sister, to get the rest of their sisters.
With action, adventure and romance peppered throughout its pages, “Spread” will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
