Author Gary K. Ballard gives life to an almost unnoticeable thing, but of great importance, in his new book, The Little File. Here, readers will find and be amused with a good-natured true story of the little file that happened on a mission trip to Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in Lampe, Missouri.
This book narrates how Little File was awakened by his owner Gary, who was having a trouble putting his trailer hitch into the receiver on his Suburban. Gary wanted him to help him file down the trailer hitch. Little File was sure glad Gary was letting him help as it gets lonesome in his file box. Gary finally laid him down on the 5 ft. by 8 ft. trailer frame. Few minutes later however, everything turned alarming for Little File. Gary didn’t notice him hanging on for his life on the frame. As Gary and his men moved on to the mission trip, Little File was there on the frame, praying and hoping someone would see him. Until when could he survive holding on to the frame? Would someone find and rescue him?
Creatively interesting, exciting and inspiring, The Little File is a simple but unique story that reveals the importance of things, responsibility and involvement—and the miracles of prayer. This book is a must read for those who need comfort, hope and inspiration while being entertained.
