Following a comprehensive public tender process and vigorous selection procedure, the Government Procurement Service (GPS) has granted Imtech ICT’s application to deploy G-Cloud Specialist Cloud Services ([G-CLOUD II – RM1557 II ) to assist in the improved delivery of ICT (Information Communication and Technology) to public sector agencies including local and county councils, public libraries and the emergency services.

Recent statistics from independent analysts, IDC, show that Worldwide revenue from IT Cloud services exceeded $21.5 billion in 2010 and is set to reach $72.9 billion in 2015 . The G-Cloud initiative is the government’s commitment to the adoption of Cloud computing models in order to prepare and deliver computing resources to meet the seismic shift in how technology is distributed now and in the future.
